Welcome to Argyll Fishing and all that it can offer.
Argyll is blessed with a large number of lochs and rivers and nearly all of them have a population of wild brown trout. With some 28 years fly fishing experience, the majority of which has been on the hill lochs throughout Scotland, I can offer you my local knowledge, where to fish, how to fish, which flies to use and how to persuade the trout to take them. If you are a beginner, I can help you to learn to cast and improve your casting.
One way of learning is to come on one of our Fishing weekends were you will cover everything over a weekend to set you up for lifetime of fishing click here for more
.....
I’ve caught many fish over the years, and lost many too – sometimes they are small at about 3 to the pound, but often they can be up to the pound, now and again there comes a big one. It’s always a surprise and you never know when it will come!
I supply everything you need from high quality fishing rods and reels to tea and snacks , and on a full day a real feast of a picnic lunch. We may even cook the trout you catch in the morning!#
I cover a large area of Argyll which includes many well know lochs and rivers but also small hill lochs that dont even have names. These small lochs can sometimes offer the best sport, and certainly some of the best days out.
Whatever you choose to do and whether or
not you catch anything, you will certainly have an experience - the scenery is beautiful and the wild life will be out to play. But be warned - you’re not the only one fishing for nature has its own and better fishermen!
