The Leave no Trace Awareness Course for organisations

 

I offer and run courses based on the ages, interests and activities of the attending participants.  These can include anyone from primary school pupils to active pensioners!

This is a full day usually from 9 am to 5 pm and covers all of the
seven principles shown.

A lot of the course is based indoors but there are some practical outdoor sessions too. We aim to adapt the course with the audience in mind and make it relevant to what you do as individuals. It's aimed at anybody who has an interest in the outdoors and for anyone who is likely to have an impact on their outdoor environment. A certificate will be issued to show attendance and completion of the course. There is no written exam and no experience needed to attend.

It is my belief that in years to come the Leave no Trace principles with be a pre-requisite to any activity or employment in outdoor industry. Both the Duke of Edinburgh scheme and scouting movements are already looking at the course to become an integral part of their organisations.

Courses can be held at your own venue or we can arrange a venue suitable.

Costs vary and start from £180 a day. Prices will vary due to choice of venue and the number of participants.
